AB's Useful Box - S3 86c368 [ Trio 3D / 2X ]

WinXP did not auto detect this card, but there is a driver out there. Even without auto detection WinXP did run ok, just that could not manually set the refresh rate for SUN GDM 2010 monitor that requires a very specific frequency.

Good news about this card it managed to display 1280x1024 on Philips 105S without any drastic side effects. It managed to display 1280x1024 at 24bit colour, using 46.4kHz / 86.9Hz.

Also managed a display that both of the above monitors liked, 1024x768, 60kHz / 75Hz.
