ERAust design, build, renovate and most importantly, maintain websites of any size. The goal of ERAust, is for our customers to have the best websites, being unique, fast and error free. MCM - Mini Content Management system ERAust have developed our own content management system that does not require database hosting, that can often be very expensive. We call our content management system MCM, Mini Content Management system. MCM uses our own proprietary database file format. The only requirement of a web host is that it runs the server side program language PHP. MCM can normally be retrofitted to existing websites, and frequently used in many of the sites we produce, to provide facility to remotely administor functions like:
MCM can be customised to provide various levels of access dependant on the site's requirements, features like:
Using MCM to control only specific functions of a website, allows updating of News and Events schedules by users with only basic knowledge. It reduces the need for highly skilled web professions doing basic admin tasks, that are easily deligated to other staff who are often producing the initial information. Part of the process of developing a website should be to perform usability testing. ERAust use a Usability Test Form, it would normally be performed two or three times during development, using three to four participants on each occasion. Basic
rates: So if you are considering hosting a website, would like some help with one you already have or an independent evaluation of your current site, please drop us an email at eraust@yahoo.com For some
