The world hath found in thee a great champion in affliction, O Endurer of pain, who didst put to flight the heathen. For like as thou didst humble Lyseus' pride, and encourage Nestor in the Arena, in like manner O Saint Demetrios, beseech Christ our God, that He will grant unto us great mercy.
